Dream Center

The Dream Center is imagined as a place where young adults have an opportunity for the ultimate hand-up to launch community-based, God-honoring businesses that provide for their families and break the generational poverty by which so many are bound.

Picture a beautiful building, hosting a marketplace of new companies opened by young adults who don’t have to worry about paying rent. Imagine the next generation of Cambodia receiving the empowerment, support, and coaching they need to experience freedom in the form of a realized dream.

Our hope is to establish a fund to provide a space along with the upfront capital it will take to help launch the dreams of young adults in Poipet as we fight generational poverty.

Through this hand-up, visionary approach, young entrepreneurs can focus on their new venture, build a clientele, learn how to budget, and develop a small business. The Dream Center will be a place of beginnings for these aspiring small business owners to get their footing before launching out on their own.

Here are just a few of the dreams we hope are launched in the Dream Center:

“My dream and hope in the future is to continue to serve God and open my own coffee shop as a small business (because I love coffee).”

“I want to open my own restaurant one day!”

“I want to have my own business, maybe opening a gasoline station and support my church.”

“I want to open a sports store and also sell musical instruments. I want to support and sponsor my church with musical instruments!”

“I want to have an instrument shop to sell instruments and teach music. I hope my dream can be successful and I can support my church and God’s Kingdom in this way.”

“I want to be a missionary and open a school and bookstore with a bakery in the same shop. I’m so eager to see people in my country know Jesus and for the opportunity to serve Him in education.”

“I love education! My dream is to own a business selling stationery (school supplies) because I want to provide products related to education. This way, I can support the church and the school while helping students with their education. I hope to bring the light of Jesus to my customers!”
