Support Grace

About Support Grace

In the border region of Poipet, Cambodia, extreme poverty intersects with a lack of opportunity. This crisis forces families to make heartbreaking decisions, putting children at high risk of human trafficking, exploitation, and unsafe labor.

This fall, Grace is moving to Poipet to serve full-time with LightBridge International, a nonprofit that offers freedom to people trapped in poverty and vulnerable to trafficking by providing holistic programs, releasing the potential of every person they encounter through the Name and Power of Jesus.

While serving in Poipet, she will be assisting in several areas of ministry, including teacher training and inclusive education, particularly for students with disabilities. Her hope is to help create learning environments where every child is valued and empowered to flourish—because each life reflects the image of God. She’ll also support Landmine Design, LightBridge’s job creation program for survivors of trafficking, which provides sustainable, dignified work for women and restores hope to communities impacted by poverty.

One of the most urgent and tender areas of her ministry will involve child protection and family advocacy. Many of the children connected to LightBridge’s schools are vulnerable or have been directly affected by exploitation and trafficking. She’ll be supporting case management and walking with families in crisis—working to place children in safe, nurturing educational environments and accompanying families as they rebuild and heal.

About Grace:
She is a 27-year-old educator with three years of experience teaching 2nd grade and special education. Her time in the classroom opened her eyes to the unique needs of vulnerable children and deepened her calling to serve beyond the walls of a traditional school. She’s now committed to using her background to support families in Poipet—offering hope, education, and opportunity where it's needed most.
